Viola Davis to headline Central California Women’s Conference

On Tuesday, Sept. 22 the 28th Annual Central California Women’s Conference will feature Viola Davis as its luncheon keynote speaker. Davis is a Screen Actors Guild, Tony and People’s Choice award winner who currently start in the hit ABC show “How to Get Away with Murder.”

David joins more than two dozen other national and local speakers who will discuss important topics for women at the daylong event. Wellness expert Jean Steel will be the morning warm-up keynote and Monica Piper will be the afternoon cool-down speaker.

CCWC’s Sept. 22 event will be held from 7:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center and is the largest women’s event in the Valley, drawing 3,500 annually. This year’s theme is Ignite Your Body and Spirit and attendees will be encouraged to recharge their lives via their careers, relationships and, most importantly, themselves.

CCWC also includes more than 175 exhibitors, scholarships to underserved young women, and a grant program to support area community benefit organizations that serve women and children.

Tickets go on sale on April 1 for the early bird price of $100 and go up to $110 on June 1. For more information, log on to ccwc-fresno.org.
